- Infant (4-11 months): 12 to 15 hours, with naps.
- Toddler (1-2 years): 11 to 14 hours.
- Preschooler (3-5 years): 10 to 13 hours.
- School-age child (6-13 years): 9 to 11 hours.
- Teenager (14-17 years): 8 to 10 hours.
- Adult (18-64 years): 7 to 9 hours.
- Senior (65+): 7 to 8 hours, often more fragmented.
